Hand Embroidery

One upside of spending time in bed last week is that when I was feeling well enough I had time for hand sewing. I've been making slow but steady progress on the top panel of my Dance by the Light of the Moon quilt.

All I have left to do is most of the pumpkins and a little bit left in the moon.

Cute stitchery. Looks like it will be prefect for October! Glad you're feeling better.

Your piece nice--like the design a lot--the hanging pumpkins are cute. on a totally unrelated note, I saw the beading tutorial you did over at Peas in a Pod and am wondering where you got the fabric that you used as your basis for beading--I have some of that same design but in a darker colorway.
thanx

Vibrina, You are a "no-reply" blogger and you didn't include an email in your comment so I am responding here in hopes that you will see it. I got the fabric you asked about at my local quilt store several years ago.

thanks for the reply and sorry for posting twice.

That is looking very nice. Good job on the hand work.

Lynn,
I should have asked before--do you think it's possible the quilt shop would still have some of that print. If not, could I 'borrow' the image to post on 'missing fabric' sites so I could see if I could locate some.
thanx

Vibrina,

I work at my local store. We don't have any more of this fabric. I can look through my stash though to see if I still have any left. I'll let you know if I do. Otherwise, feel free to take the image and do a search for it.
